Subject: Treatment For Urid Acid And Gout

(Green papaya cubes with green tea :  cure for urid acid)

Uric acid sufferers who drink green tea with green papaya cubes have enjoyed very effective improvements.

Three years ago, my cousin brother has tested this formula and discovered that his suffering from uric acid has improved significantly and recovered finally.  And now he is only drinking it 1 - 3 times a month as maintenance course.

Those who suffered from gout also found this tea effective.

Professor Lai (from China School of Pharmacy)'s new treatment :

- cut the green papaya into small cubes.

- boil the papaya cubes

- add these papaya cubes to your green tea

- take it regularly

Rende Township, Tainan County's mayor Liu Qing was suffering from gastric pain for many years, after taking green papaya drink for a month, he was surprised that he has recovered. Some of his family members also recovered from gout problem after drinking this tea.  Drinking papaya tea is not taking medication, Liu, therefore plants a lot of papaya and distribute the papayas to the sick relatives, friends and folks.

According to Mr Liu, the best choice of Green Papaya (round fruit with large capacity), cut the top of papaya (to be used as cover when you are making the tea), discard the papaya seeds,  dig a small opening by the side (to allow the vapour to escape), put the tea leaves into the papaya, pour boiling water into the papaya and cover back the papaya by using the cut piece.  Tea is served.

According to the local farmers,  papayas will take about four months to mature,  when the papaya is ripe, thenutrition value will be much lower. Green Papaya harvested about three months or so contains high papaya enzyme, and vit.B, good to make drink with green tea, you can also boil and cut into small pieces, cook with pork ribs, or  fry with garlic and serve as a dish on your table.

FW: Rape-aXe: The Anti-Rape Condom

This is so brilliant ! An anti-rape female condom invented by Sonette Ehlers

A South African woman working as a blood technician with the South African Blood Transfusion Service, during which time she met and treated many rape victims.

The device, known as The Rape-aXe , is a latex sheath embedded with shafts of sharp,inward-facing microscopic barbs that would be worn by a woman in her vagina like a tampon.

If an attacker were to attempt vaginal rape, their penis would enter the latex sheath and be snagged by the barbs, causing the attacker pain during withdrawal and (ideally) giving the victim time to escape.

The condom would remain attached to the attackers body when he withdrew and could only be removed surgically, which would alert hospital staff and police. This device could assist in the identification and prosecution of rapists.

Fwd: Bubble Tea

Dear All,
I will roughly translate this articles which is in Chinese.
Bubble tea (pearl milk tea) brings alot of sweet excitement to our taste buds but it is also very harmful to health.
Milk essence is the main ingredient in bubble tea. Ten cups of fresh milk cannot match the taste of
of a teaspoon of milk essence. The main ingredient of milk essence is hygrogenated vegetable oil,
a type of transfat. Experts says that a glass of 500ml of bubble tea a day far exceed the allowable
limit of transfat for any person. It will lead to heart  and blood vessel diseases.
Milk essence gives the bubble tea the fragrance and make it tasty. The fragrance and tastiness derived
from a type of chemical. This chemical has trace of arsenic, lead, copper and many harmful minerals.
Long term consumption can lead to heart and blood vessel disease, cancer, asthma and other health
complications. It reduces the IQ of children.
Consuming the black bubbles is equivalent to consuming plastic. Normally these bubbles were made from
casava (tapioca) powder. This alone does not give the rubbery texture. To make it more rubbery, millet
protein is added. Some "black hearted" businessmen felt that this is still not rubbery enough. so, an artificial
plastic powder is added. This type of artificial plastic material will never be digested and absorbed into the
body. It will remain in  the body and cause havoc to our health. You can imagine what will happen to your
health after prolonged consumption of transfat and plastic!!!!
FOR YOUR HEALTH SAKE, PLEASE ABSTAIN FROM BUBBLE TEA.

Don't drink any more!

NEVER on the plane!

After a month-long holiday in the US, my wife and I finally boarded the
plane in San Francisco last Sunday heading home.
As the plane reached cruising speed with the seat belt sign switched off, a
6 ft 3" black man with the build of Mike Tyson in the front row got up from
his seat, turned to face the back, raised his arm and yelled, "HIJACK!"
Everyone was frozen to the seat, expecting the worst to happen. And two
stewards were about to jump onto this guy to overpower him when another
voice answered from the back of the plane:
"HI JOHN!"
The moral of the story is: If you have a friend named Jack, for heaven's
sake don't ever call him on the plane. Otherwise you may land yourself in
deep shit.

Who knew?

Did you know that drinking two glasses of Gatorade can relieve headache pain almost immediately-without the unpleasant side effects caused by traditional pain relievers?
Did you know that Colgate Toothpaste makes an excellent salve for burns?
Before you head to the drugstore for a high-priced inhaler filled with mysterious chemicals, try chewing on a couple of curiously strong Altoids peppermints. They'll clear up your stuffed nose.
Achy muscles from a bout of the flu? Mix 1 tablespoon horseradish in 1 cup of olive oil. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes, then apply it as a massage oil for instant relief for aching muscles.
Sore throat? Just mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1/4 cup of honey and take 1 tablespoon six times a day. The vinegar kills the bacteria.
Cure urinary tract infections with Alka-Seltzer. Just dissolve two tablets in a glass of water and drink it at the onset of the symptoms. Alka-Seltzer begins eliminating urinary tract infections almost instantly-even though the product was never advertised for this use.
Honey remedy for skin blemishes... cover the blemish with a dab of honey and place a Band-Aid over it. Honey kills the bacteria, keeps the skin sterile, and speeds healing. Works overnight.
Listerine therapy for toenail fungus: Get rid of unsightly toenail fungus by soaking your toes in Listerine Mouthwash. The powerful antiseptic leaves your toenails looking healthy again.
WARDS OFF MOSQUITO’S TOO!! DOUSE A SOFT CLOTH AND APPLY TO SURROUNDING WINDOW/DOOR FRAMES!
Easy eyeglass protection... to prevent the screws in eyeglasses from loosening, apply a small drop of MaybellineCrystal Clear Nail Polish to the threads of the screws before tightening them.
Cleaning liquid that doubles as bug killer... if menacing bees, wasps, hornets, or yellow jackets get in your home and you can't find the insecticide, try a spray of Formula 409. Insects drop to the ground instantly.
Smart splinter remover: Just pour a drop of Elmer's Glue-All over the splinter, let dry, and peel the dried glue off the skin. The splinter sticks to the dried glue.
Hunt's Tomato Paste boil cure... cover the boil with Hunt's Tomato Paste as a compress. The acids from the tomatoes soothe the pain and bring the boil to a head.
Balm for broken blisters... to disinfect a broken blister, dab on a few drops of Listerine, a powerful antiseptic.
Vinegar to heal bruises... soak a cotton ball in white vinegar and apply it to the bruise for 1 hour. The vinegar reduces the blueness and speeds up the healing process.
Quaker Oats for fast pain relief... it's not for breakfast any more! Mix 2 cups of Quaker Oats and 1 cup of water in a bowl and warm in the microwave for 1 minute, cool slightly, and apply the mixture to your hands for soothing relief from arthritis pain.
If you send this to one person who doesn't know about this, then it was worth it.
I'm gone...!!!!

Fwd: Wake up Call - An article from Sin Chew

The moment when dream is awakend...
I wonder you feel the same as me, all the sudden I realized friends and
relatives around me seems to get less and less.
Those years when the New Year drew near, all sorts of gathering
appointments almost completely filled the diaries, but this year seems so
quiet.
Even in normal time, phone calls become less and less, face to face meet up
also become much less.
Perhaps, everybody is busy with their own things, or perhaps, nowadays
people prefer to stay in.
However, it is not entirely like this, thinking further, actually old
friends and relatives are not around any more. God bless, they are still
alive and well, they just left the country, Malaysia.
They have gone to China to set factory; Ah Wang quit his engineer job and
migrated to Australia to set up his little food store business, Ah Fong
left the local University went to Hong Kong as a lecturer. 'Frog' went to
Taiwan to pursue his second career life. Others went to Americia, England,
even Indonesia...
At first, I thought these are individual cases, but gradually, people
around me realized the same, these are not individual cases but a general
symptoms of our society. they are not small numbers but the pretty big
indeed.
Department of Foreign Affairs released the figures earlier, it confirmed
the situation is real.
From March 2008 thru September 2009, a total of 300,000 Malaysian migrated
to other countries, among them 200,000 left between Jan - Aug 2009. (in 8
months)
Cummulatively, there are 2 million Malaysian migrated, this figure is close
to the number of Indonesian workers in Malaysia today.
The difference are, those migrated are mostly professional and middle class
people.
They have many reasons to leave: pursue career development, for the future
of their children, in search of better life and environment... In one
sentence, they lost hope of Malaysia.
50 years ago people said: Malaysia is very good, better than Hong Kong and
even Japan.
30 years ago people said: Malaysia is not bad, comparable to S. Korea and
Taiwan. (No mention of Hong Kong and Japan any more).
20 years ago people said: Malaysia can do la, at least better than China
and Thailand (Cannot compare with Taiwan and Korea lah)
10 years ago people said: No matter how bad Malaysia is, cannot be worse
than Vietnam and Indonesia ko-ah. (China is already in a different category
/much growth ).
Today, the economic growth rate of Vietnam and Indonesia already far
exceeded Malaysia, Social activity and intellectual development of the
country is also better, the gap between us and them is closing up.
Why worry? There are still Philippines, Cambodia and Myanmar behind us.
However, according to an economist who recently surveyed Phillipines, he
think in 20 years' time, Malaysia can replace Phillipines to become the
World exporter of Malaysian maids.
Over half the century, Malaysians live in the big old imperial housing
complex, closed up and survive on properties left behind by the ancestor;
continue to consume up social resources, wasteful, and drive away talents;
they never talk about competitiveness, totally neglect productivity, and
hate meritocracy.
When Asia economic storm hit in 1997, Malaysia closed their doors, thinking
we beautifully avoided a disaster, they even think of themselves as genius,
being able to handle the situation so well.
However, just look at other countries in our neighbourhood, they stand up,
face the storm, and walk out of the storm. They overhaul the system,
improve the processes and march forward, they moved up to a new level. And
Malaysia, still walking on the spot.
It's time to wake up! We are very very late now!....

Fw: Bukit Aman scam

This just happened a few minutes ago. Somebody by the name of Inspector Chew King Hwa from Bukit Aman had called my husband's hand phone looking for me saying that I was implicated in some money laundering cases (I really wished that I had those money). He gave a contact number which was 03-2262 6222.
When I checked online, it is true that the number belongs to Bukit Aman HQ. So I called using my office phone to the number and I was told by the operator at the Bukit Aman HQ that there is a syndicate with inside people from Celcomand Telekom which is running these scams. They offer to settle your case outside and ask for money to bank into certain accounts. The operator said everyday the Bukit Aman HQ receives 40-50 calls from the public, people like me asking for verification. Bukit Aman said they will change their phone number soon because of this scam.
The clever thing about this group is that, when they call you on your hand phone, the number shown would be 03-2262 6222.
I guess if you call this number from hand phone, or directly pressing on the number received on your hand phone without re-keying in the numbers again through the keypad, you will reach the syndicate as they must have manipulated either the caller identity and created a fake line with the insiders' assistance from Celcom/ Maxis/Digi. But if you call the same number using land line (Telekom) as I did, only will you be able to reach the real Bukit Aman HQ.
So it looks like the con men are also getting smarter. But you can straightaway tell from the way the caller speaks, that he is not very educated and hence not likely to be of the caliber of an officer.
Hope you will tell your family and friends.

I think they target the Chinese.

Reminder to hold the petrol nozzle at all times -don't be lazy

Always hold onto the nozzle while filling up your petrol tank.

A friend stopped for petrol at the petrol station (the one) at the Lingkaran Highway near Gombak) a little over two weeks ago.

This was the first time he patronized a station.

As his normal practice elsewhere, he put the nozzle on automatic and stood nearby waiting for his car to be filled up.

Suddenly, the nozzle flew out of the gas tank opening with petrol spewing out at high speed.
He was sprayed with petrol all over, including his face and eyes (just imagine the pain in his eyes). His companion quickly brought him to toilet to wash his face. After that they reported the incident to the staff and asked to speak to the manager.

The manager refused to see them. He only instructed the staff to take our friend to the hospital.
According to the staff that was not the first time the nozzle came out of the tank while customers are filling up petrol.

But our friend's incident was the worst. The top layer of his right eye was damaged and the area around his eye burnt. His eye had to be bandaged for 10 days.
He was not so lucky his eyesight was badly affected and became blind.

Apparently the nozzle was lighter than normal and the speed of the petrol created a backward thrust that pushed the nozzle out of the tank.

So please be careful. Share this info with your friends, family & relatives .......

Fw: Squeezing your Balls

A father walks into a restaurant with his young son.
He gives the young boy three coins to play with to keep him occupied.
Suddenly, the boy starts choking, going blue in the face.  The father realizes the boy has swallowed the coins and starts slapping him on the back.
The boy coughs up two of the coins, but keeps choking.Looking at his son, the father is panicking,
shouting for help.
A well dressed, attractive, and serious looking woman, in a blue business suit is sitting at a coffee bar
reading a newspaper and sipping a cup of coffee. At the sound of the commotion, she looks up,puts her coffee cup down, neatly folds the newspaper and places it on the counter, gets up from her seat and makes
her way, unhurriedly, across the restaurant.
Reaching the boy, the woman carefully drops his pants; takes hold of the boy's' testicles and
starts to squeeze and twist, gently at first and then ever so firmly.. After a few seconds the boy convulses violently
and Coughs up the last coin, which the woman deftly catches in her free hand.
Releasing the boy's testicles, the woman hands the coin to the father and walks back to her seat at the
coffee bar without saying a word.
As soon as he is sure that his son has suffered no ill effects, the father rushes over to the woman and starts thanking her saying, "I've never seen anybody do anything like that before, it was fantastic.
Are you a doctor? "
'No,' the woman replied.
'I'm from Jabatan Hasil Dalam Negeri.'

Fwd: What the malaysia Chinese want

What the Chinese want

Sun, 02 May 2010 10:10

By Kee Thuan Chye
COMMENT Every time the Barisan Nasional gets less than the expected support from Chinese voters at an election, the question invariably pops up among the petty-minded: Why are the Chinese ungrateful?

So now, after the Hulu Selangor by-election, it’s not surprising to read in Utusan Malaysia a piece that asks: “Orang Cina Malaysia, apa lagi yang anda mahu?” (Chinese of Malaysia, what more do you want?)
Normally, something intentionally provocative and propagandistic as this doesn’t deserve to be honoured with a reply. But even though I’m fed up of such disruptive and ethnocentric polemics, this time I feel obliged to reply – partly because the article has also been published, in an English translation, in the Straits Times of Singapore.
I wish to emphasise here that I am replying not as a Chinese Malaysian but, simply, as a Malaysian.
Let me say at the outset that the Chinese have got nothing more than what any citizen should get. So to ask “what more” it is they want, is misguided. A correct question would be “What do the Chinese want?”
All our lives, we Chinese have held to the belief that no one owes us a living. We have to work for it. Most of us have got where we are by the sweat of our brow, not by handouts or the policies of the government.
We have come to expect nothing – not awards, not accolades, not gifts from official sources. (Let’s not lump in Datukships, that’s a different ball game.) We know that no Chinese who writes in the Chinese language will ever be bestowed the title of Sasterawan Negara, unlike in Singapore where the literatures of all the main language streams are recognised and honoured with the Cultural Medallion, etc.
We have learned we can’t expect the government to grant us scholarships. Some will get those, but countless others won’t. We’ve learned to live with that and to work extra hard in order to support our children to attain higher education – because education is very important to us. We experience a lot of daily pressure to achieve that. Unfortunately, not many non-Chinese realise or understand that. In fact, many Chinese had no choice but to emigrate for the sake of their children’s further education. Or to accept scholarships from abroad, many from Singapore, which has inevitably led to a brain drain.
The writer of the Utusan article says the Chinese “account for most of the students” enrolled in “the best private colleges in Malaysia”. Even so, the Chinese still have to pay a lot of money to have their children study in these colleges. And to earn that money, the parents have to work very hard. The money does not fall from the sky.
The writer goes on to add: “The Malays can gain admission into only government-owned colleges of ordinary reputation.” That is utter nonsense. Some of these colleges are meant for the cream of the Malay crop of students and are endowed with the best facilities. They are given elite treatment.
The writer also fails to acknowledge that the Chinese are barred from being admitted to some of these colleges. As a result, the Chinese are forced to pay more money to go to private colleges. Furthermore, the Malays are also welcome to enrol in the private colleges, and many of them do. It’s, after all, a free enterprise.
Plain and simple reason

The writer claims that the Chinese live “in the lap of luxury” and lead lives that are “more than ordinary” whereas the Malays in Singapore, their minority-race counterparts there, lead “ordinary lives”. Such sweeping statements sound inane especially when they are not backed up by definitions of “lap of luxury” and “ordinary lives”. They sound hysterical, if not hilarious as well, when they are not backed up by evidence. It’s surprising that a national daily like Utusan Malaysia would publish something as idiosyncratic as that. And the Straits Times too.

The writer quotes from a survey that said eight of the 10 richest people in Malaysia are Chinese. Well, if these people are where they are, it must have also come from hard work and prudent business sense. Is that something to be faulted?
If the writer had said that some of them achieved greater wealth through being given crony privileges and lucrative contracts by the government, there might be a point, but even then, it would still take hard work and business acumen to secure success. Certainly, Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary, who is one of the 10, would take exception if it were said that he has not worked hard and lacks business savvy.
Most important, it should be noted that the eight Chinese tycoons mentioned in the survey represent but a minuscule percentage of the wider Chinese Malaysian population. To extrapolate that because eight Chinese are filthy rich, the rest of the Chinese must therefore live in the lap of luxury and lead more than ordinary lives would be a mockery of the truth. The writer has obviously not met the vast numbers of very poor Chinese.
The crux of the writer’s article is that the Chinese are not grateful to the government by not voting for Barisan Nasional at the Hulu Selangor by-election. But this demonstrates the thinking of either a simple mind or a closed one.
Why did the Chinese by and large not vote for BN? Because it’s corrupt. Plain and simple. Let’s call a spade a spade. And BN showed how corrupt it was during the campaign by throwing bribes to the electorate, including promising RM3 million to the Chinese school in Rasa.
The Chinese were not alone in seeing this corruption. The figures are unofficial but one could assume that at least 40 per cent of Malays and 45 per cent of Indians who voted against BN in that by-election also had their eyes open.
So, what’s wrong with not supporting a government that is corrupt? If the government is corrupt, do we continue to support it?
To answer the question then, what do the Chinese want? They want a government that is not corrupt; that can govern well and proves to have done so; that tells the truth rather than lies; that follows the rule of law; that upholds rather than abuses the country’s sacred institutions. BN does not fit that description, so the Chinese don’t vote for it. This is not what only the Chinese want. It is something every sensible Malaysian, regardless of race, wants. Is that something that is too difficult to understand?
Some people think that the government is to be equated with the country, and therefore if someone does not support the government, they are being disloyal to the country. This is a complete fallacy. BN is not Malaysia. It is merely a political coalition that is the government of the day. Rejecting BN is not rejecting the country.
A sense of belonging

Let’s be clear about this important distinction. In America, the people sometimes vote for the Democrats and sometimes for the Republicans. Voting against the one that is in government at the time is not considered disloyalty to the country.

By the same token, voting against Umno is also voting against a party, not against a race. And if the Chinese or whoever criticise Umno, they are criticising the party; they are not criticising Malays. It just happens that Umno’s leaders are Malay.
It is time all Malaysians realised this so that we can once and for all dispel the confusion. Let us no more confuse country with government. We can love our country and at the same time hate the government. It is perfectly all right.
I should add here what the Chinese don’t want. We don’t want to be insulted, to be called pendatang, or told to be grateful for our citizenship. We have been loyal citizens; we duly and dutifully pay taxes; we respect the country’s constitution and its institutions. Our forefathers came to this country generations ago and helped it to prosper. We are continuing to contribute to the country's growth and development.
Would anyone like to be disparaged, made to feel unwelcome, unwanted? For the benefit of the writer of the Utusan article, what MCA president Chua Soi Lek means when he says the MCA needs to be more vocal is that it needs to speak up whenever the Chinese community is disparaged. For too long, the MCA has not spoken up strongly enough when Umno politicians and associates like Ahmad Ismail, Nasir Safar, Ahmad Noh and others before them insulted the Chinese and made them feel like they don’t belong. That’s why the Chinese have largely rejected the MCA.
You see, the Chinese, like all human beings, want self-respect. And a sense of belonging in this country they call home. That is all the Chinese want, and have always wanted. Nothing more.

The Utusan Malaysia article:

Orang Cina Malaysia, apa lagi yang anda mahu?

Subject: Speech by Chetan Bhagat at Symbiosis

Nice one, doesn't matter if you don't know Chetan Bhagat, just read the content.

Don't just have career or academic goals. Set goals to give you a balanced, successful life. I use the word balanced before successful. Balanced means ensuring your health, relationships, mental peace are all in good order.

There is no point in getting a promotion on the day of your break-up. There is no fun in driving a car if your back hurts. Shopping is not enjoyable if your mind is full of tensions.

Life is one of those races in nursery school where you have to run with a marble in a spoon kept in your mouth. If the marble falls, there is no point coming first. Same is with life where health and relationships are the marble. Your striving is only worth it if there is harmony in your life. Else, you may achieve the success, but this spark, this feeling of being excited and alive, will start to die.

One thing about nurturing the spark - don't take life seriously. Life is not meant to be taken seriously, as we are really temporary here. We are like a prepaid card with limited validity. If we are lucky, we may last another 50 years. And 50 years is just 2,500 weekends. Do we really need to

get so worked up?

It's ok, bunk a few classes, scoring low in couple of papers, goof up a few interviews, take leave from work, fall in love, little fights with your spouse. We are people, not programmed devices. "Don't be serious, be sincere."

download
download

Eat Less Rice!

rice, bowl

Eat Less Rice!

The human body was never meant to consume rice! You see, our genes have hardly changed in more than 30,000 years. However, our food choices and lifestyle have changed dramatically. The caveman would hardly recognise our food or way of life.

Caveman food was never cooked as fire was not yet tamed. Thus, he ate only those foods that you can eat without treatment with or by fire.. He ate fruits, vegetables, fish (sushi anyone?), eggs, nuts and meat. Yes, even meat! You can even eat meat raw if you were starving in the forest. You have the necessary enzymes to digest meat.

However, rice, like wheat and corn, cannot be eaten raw. It must be cooked. Even if you were starving in the desert, you cannot eat rice in the raw form. This is because we do not have the system of enzymes to break rice down. You were never meant to eat rice. To make matters worse, you not only eat rice, but also make it the bulk of your food.

In some parts of Asia , rice forms up to 85% of the plate. Even if you take rice, keep it to a minimum. Remember, it is only for your tongue - not your body. Actually, rice and other grains like wheat and corn are actually worse than sugar. There are many reasons:

Rice becomes sugar - lots of it!

This is a fact that no nutritionist can deny: rice is chemically no different from sugar. One bowl of cooked rice is the caloric equal of 10 teaspoons of sugar. This does not matter whether it is white, brown or herbal rice. Brown rice is richer in fibre, some B vitamins and minerals but it is still the caloric equal of 10 teaspoons of sugar. To get the same 10 teaspoons of sugar, you need to consume lots of kangkong-10 bowls of it.
